Thanks to the heroic efforts of Eagle Ridge Hospital staff, 38-year-old nurse Penny Reed is alive to tell her tale of surviving a life-threatening blood clot in her lung called a pulmonary embolism (full story). Penny’s husband Scott summed up their feelings about the ER staff with glistening eyes, “They’re all saints as far as we’re concerned!”

Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation raises the funds required to purchase almost 70% of the equipment the hospital needs to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
We serve the 216,000 residents of Anmore, Belcarra, Port Moody, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam as well as patients throughout the lower mainland who come to Eagle Ridge for elective surgery.
As our population grows, the hospital will need to grow to meet greater demand for health care services. By 2031, just 25 years from now, we will be called on to serve nearly 100,000 additional people in our community.
The hospital’s professional staff determines each year what medical equipment is most urgently needed. In 2006 – 2007 the foundation agreed to a 25% increase in its funding commitment to the hospital. Since 1992, the foundation has contributed more than $8,000,000 to the hospital because the citizens of the Tri-cities support Eagle Ridge with loyalty and commitment.
Our community deserves good health and with your help, and the help of your friends and family, we can give the gift of good health to each other.
